I grew up in Lima and graduated from Lima Central Catholic High School in 1983. After completing my residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, I have been a practicing Pathologist and small business owner in this community since 1996. I have been actively involved in our community. I have served on multiple boards within the hospital and within the Lima Catholic Schools, as well as at Ohio Northern University and The Ohio State University at Lima. I have volunteered for many years with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Boy Scouts. Furthermore, I represented my professional colleagues as the President of the Ohio Society of Pathologists. Since 2016, I have been the Director of Graduate Medical Education at Mercy Health St Rita’s. My team and I have successfully accredited three residency programs in our area, leading to enhanced quality, safety, and patient satisfaction within our community.
I have been married for 31 years, and I have two college aged children. My daughter is a senior majoring in secondary religious education and history at the University of Dayton. My son is in his second year majoring in aeronautical engineering at the United States Air Force Academy. Based upon my experience, I am an extremely qualified candidate to serve the citizens of the 86th district. I will use a common-sense and conservative approach in dealing with issues facing our district.
